Emmanuel (“Manny”) Figueroa is the founding pastor of Charis Community Church. He has a heart for discipleship and a passion for teaching God’s Word, desiring to see people come to know, love, and serve Jesus in every area of life. Manny is devoted to preaching the Scriptures faithfully, shepherding families with care, and equipping believers to live out the gospel in their homes, workplaces, and communities. Manny and his wife, Nora, are high school sweethearts who met in their hometown of Philadelphia. They have been married for 14 years and are raising two sons, EJ and Milo. Together, they love opening their home to others, sharing meals, and building relationships that point people to Christ.

Preston Hodson serves as the Youth and Young-Adult Director at Charis Community Church. He is a graduate of Westminster Theological Seminary (MAR) and has a heart for seeing young people grow in their faith. Preston is committed to teaching the Scriptures faithfully and walking alongside the youth and young adults in their lives. Preston is joined by his wife Julia, and their two sons, Jason and Haddon. In his free time, Preston enjoys running, hiking, reading, and board games.
